To get your home ready for Fall, check out The Inspired Room's Fall Nesting Week. In Melissa's words,"Fall Nesting Week is how we get ourselves IN THE MOOD for fall."
I completely agree! I actually picked up some Dollar Store Fall-ish items to change out my door wreath. It's just not right to have hot pink flowers on your wreath once October hits.
Last, but certainly not least (in my world anyway) is the Pantone Fall 2009 Color Trend Report. In my former life of Interior Design, I used to LOVE hearing this report every season. Not that it affected my world much(banks are very set in their ways when it comes to colors, fabrics, and furniture styles!) As much as I love color and fabrics, this has always been very entertaining to me. Check out the color trends for this season (click on the color boxes for a larger, easier-to-read version):
Interesting, isn't it? Check out the new Fall clothing lines as well as the textiles (pillows, linens, etc.) the next time you are at the mall, Wal-Mart or Target. Do you think they are following Pantone's lead?

What is your favorite thing about Fall? Leave a comment letting me know and I'll have a random drawing for a GIVEAWAY on Wednesday, September 30th. Yep, aren't you glad you kept reading? Just a little token of my appreciation for changing leaf colors, cooler weather, and yummy, heartwarming foods! Happy Fall!
